Great Media Coverage Today
Monday, November 10th, 2008

I got stuck in traffic on the way to work this morning and didn’t get here until 8:55AM this morning.  By the time I arrived, I’d received 9 emails following up or congratulating us on our coverage in the Toronto Star: A ray of sunshine for solar energy.  (Front page of the Business section!)
I’d been [...]

Corporate Knights
Thursday, October 30th, 2008

There was just a short article about us in Corporate Knights “Clean Tech 10″ issue. Corporate Knights is a magazine that focuses on responsible business, and is included once a month in the Globe and Mail (one of Canada’s main national newspapers). It’s quite an honour and we were pretty excited to hear [...]

Monday, October 27th, 2008

So, we’ve been busy applying for different programs and getting some documentation ready for a few people and we realized that we didn’t have a photo of one of the really cool looking prototypes. JP and I got out into the sun yesterday and snapped a few, and they came out really well.

Digg Main page
Friday, September 5th, 2008

Ok, we weren’t expecting to end up on the main page of Digg, and definitely not this early in our product development.  We’re in the prototype phase right now, and we won’t have panels for sale for about a year (sooner possibly, but some of the time lines depend on certification processes over which we [...]

HCPV Systems
Friday, September 5th, 2008

When talking about investors, people often talk about how you need to communicate what your “magic” is.  What is it that you can do that makes your company special.  And here at Morgan Solar, our magic is in our optics, the Light-guide Solar Optic (LSO).  We can make optical concentration systems that just behave differently, [...]

Friday, August 8th, 2008

So, it’s official, we’re announcing the installation of our first Sun Simba HCPV demonstration facility at the Earth Rangers Centre just outside of Toronto in Woodbridge, Ontario. This is exciting for a couple of reasons.
Our strategy has been to make it to the demonstration prototype stage prior to seeking external funding – demonstrate our [...]
