Morgan Solar was incorporated in June 2007 and is currently well funded by a start-up investment from our angel investor and Chairman, Eric Morgan.
This initial investment is allowing us to reach the objectives of our first Stepping Stone:
- To take our technology from R&D to the first generation of breakthrough products that will introduce a paradigm shift in concentrated photovoltaics (CPV).
Our first Stepping Stone will be completed by Q4 2008 and is currently exceeding the initial expectations and objectives.
Next stepping stones will be initiated by the end of 2008, and will allow us to:
- Build the foundations of a new CPV market leader,
- Recruit additional management and engineering talent
- Obtain product certification in Europe and North America
- Establish our manufacturing processes
- Finalize strategic partnerships
- Implement our marketing and commercialization strategy
- Establish commercial demonstration sites
- Unleash the potential of the new market leader,
- Recruit additional management, sales and engineering talent
- Launch aggressive product commercialization
- Expand product line with our next generation products
- Extract the benefits and high multiples that come from market leadership.
These stepping stones will require venture capital funding and/or partner-investor funding to extract the full value of our proprietary technologies. Our plans call for securing our next round of investment funding by Q4 2008.
